About Dr. Jenefer Huntoon

• Dr. Huntoon has practiced Naturopathic Medicine since graduating from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine (NCNM) in in 1975. NCNM is a  4 to 5 year program requiring an additional 4 years of premed before entering the Naturopathic curriculum. Dr. Huntoon also completed a one year residency at NCNM.
   
  
• She has served on the board of the Washington Association of Naturopathic Physicians and the Washington State Naturopathic Advisory Committee for many years and attends a minimum of 25 hours continuing education every year.
   
  
• Dr. Huntoon is a Northwest expert in plant enzyme therapy and has studied under Dr. Howard Loomis (the world expert in plant enzyme therapy) since 1987. She is currently one of a few Internal Health Specialists certified by Logan College.
   
  
• She specializes in digestive disorders and does a state of the art PDR preventive physical exam to evaluate imbalances in body chemistry. The PDR checks adrenal function, kidney and lymph function, colon toxicity, hormone balance, thyroid function and many other organ and gland imbalances. Comprehensive lab testing is often advised.
   
  
• Dr. Huntoon does Cranial Manipulation, which addresses TMJ problems. Several forms of Manipulation are available. These include Endo Cranial (balloon treatment), Alignment (cranial-sacral), Spinal Extremity Correction (S.E.C.) and Bowtech, the original Bowen Technique.. Dr. Huntoon has taught Bowtech Bowen for over ten years.  
   
  
• She also specializes in treatment of constipation. Many therapies are available including enzymes, botanicals, colon therapy and manipulation to the abdomen.
